ONE WARM WISH

Rather than rolling in the excess of snow that seems to have poured down on us recently and perhaps risking frost-bite in the pursuit of a snow angel, I would much rather be rolling on this Missoni rug...
The colorful, botanical rug would just let me imagine that I am in the height of summer and instead of sipping on lemsip and snuffling, I am slurping on pimms and fanning the excess heat away. Until then I'll just have to make do with hugging the heater whilst admiring. I can dream, can't I?

HOLLY FULTON FOR SMYTHSON

As a professional Smythson admirer, I fell in love when I stumbled across this new collection for 2011.

This originally quirky look for Symthson is such a wonderfully modern twist to the traditional 'first class' product. The characters have such a personality that you would just love to get out at every opportunity and scribble some notes in. I would be writing "I looove my notebooks!!!!"

ADDING THE PERSONAL TOUCH

This prop store located in Paddington was bought to my attention this week and I absolutely love it. 'Society Inc' is the creation of Sibella Court, the Interiors Editor for Grazia, and what's so exciting about this store is that the interior is changed four times a year with a new theme that encaptures the visitor and takes them on the journey. But what makes this store even more unique is the special touch Sibella seems to have.

Sibella's designs are everything I love in a room; a combination of function, beautiful and quirky. Its a space that is never allowed to age, ensuring visitors come again and again. All that's missing is a pot of freshly brewed tea and some homemade cake to enjoy whilst you absorb the surroundings. She makes messy look meaningful and distressed desirable.
One of my favorite quirks is that the front door color changes when the interior inside does. Seasonal and meaningful.
I just wish I could get the keys, move my stuff in and close the door. I wish it was my 'mess'.

NOT JUST A 'QUICK BITE'

When it comes to scrummy snacks, usually I would devour them too quickly to notice anything else but its taste and if I required more to fill my appetite. However, when it came to these biscuit sticks I had in a 'Yam Yam' dip set, I couldn't help but notice the adorable animal-isms on them. Far too sweet to eat.
