L is for Love and for Lanvin

Now that the festivities have been put behind us (probably more so on our behinds) the excitement can be fully directed to now plumping out our Spring/Summer wardrobes instead, finally.
Lanvin have captured my heart this season and I want to be falling head over in their heels.
What I love the most is that these looks seem very wearable. The long flowing, almost grecian, frocks are counter balanced with body hugging asymmetric upper halves, bringing in a 'sporty luxe' element to the ensemble.

The embellished pieces do not seem to have that 'over-the-top' feel to them that most do, instead the simple color palate and forms of the fabric compliment each other and again appeal to most as extremely wearable, especially with the accessorizing of a flat sandal! Vertically challenged other halves can breathe a sigh of relief...

This whole collection for me is a very much must have. The swishing, draping floor lengths mixed with simple cuts and understated embellishments (I still find it hard to believe there is such a thing) just tick every box for me. I just want to speed walk this right off the runway and into my closet. Merry Spring!
